Hair color techniques have evolved above and beyond from the basic ombré, balayage, and highlights. So exactly what is color melting? Basically, it’s an upgrade, better version of all past hair coloring techniques combined.

Color melting is a technique that blends highlights with the base color without harsh lines. The difference between this and regular highlights… multiple shades are used to create the melted effect.
Color melting is made up of 3 or more colors… can be achieved using dark to light or light to dark. Colors used are typically similar or the same to achieve maximum blending. Colors will overlap and create a seamless flow, no one will tell where on color begins and ends.

How to take care of your color melt hair color?
